Orders
About Multi-Line Orders
ℹ️ Saks currently splits orders with multiple line items into multiple orders - i.e. a customer ordering a belt, bag, and shoes will produce three separate orders. Quantities are not a factor. We have plans to support multi-line orders but no ETA at the moment.

APIs
Order management consists of 6 APIs that you will use to process your orders.
- OR11 - Retrieves your orders
- To retrieve new orders, set the 'order_state_codes' parameter to 'WAITING_ACCEPTANCE'.
- OR21 - Accept or refuse an order
- An initial inventory check to confirm the order can be fulfilled.
- If you accept the order, you can still cancel it later.
- If you refuse the order, inventory on that ordered item will be set to 0 and hidden from the marketplace.
- OR29 - Cancel an order
- You can cancel an order after it has been accepted, up to the point of shipment (before OR24).
- OR73 - Retrieve packing slip
- OR23 - Add carrier & tracking info upon shipment
{
"carrier_code": "UPS",
"tracking_number": "1Z999AA10123456784"
}- OR24 - Validate shipment to mark the order complete
- Once the order has been shipped, the final step is to validate (confirm) the shipment.
Order Statuses
The Mirakl order statuses noted in the flow above are reported in your Mirakl admin. The equivalent API order status (returned in OR11 as "order_state") is noted as well, and can be used as a query parameter ("order_state_codes") when fetching orders using OR11.
Rejecting or Cancelling an Order
- If you reject an order, the available quantity for that offer will be set to 0 and the product will be hidden from the marketplace until you update that offer with positive inventory.
- If you cancel an order BEFORE it has been accepted, the quantity ordered will be returned to your available inventory in Mirakl.
- If you cancel an order AFTER it has been accepted, the quantity ordered is NOT returned to your available inventory in Mirakl, so you should update that offer with the total on hand quantity soon after the order is cancelled.
