For products with multiple colors, Hex values need to be added on the UPC-level. These values appear as swatches on the Product Page and allow the customer to the select the color they want to purchase.



The easiest way to get the correct value is to use a color pick tool in a web browser, such as the Color Pick Eyedropper extension for Chrome to pull the value from the product image - the tool will show a six-digit code for the color:



For styles that have multiple options in more than one color, the swatch should be pulled from a consistent area for each option and show different values for each color.

For example, the correct values for these styles should be picked from the part of the sneaker that varies - if all swatches were white it would be difficult for the customer to choose the color they want.



For print styles, swatches should be selected from the area of the pattern that is most dominant.
