Category | Category of the product that appears across the website. If importing your product file via API and you're using a CSV or XML file format in lieu of the default XSLT format, you'll need to provide the category code instead of the category name. The category codes can be retrieved via API H11. For example, take the category hierarchy Men/Jewelry & Watches/Rings. Call H11, and in the response, search for the category label 'Men', which has the code 2534374306418052. Call H11 again, and this time specify 2534374306418052 as the hierarchy query parameter. This will give you all the child categories of the Men category. You can then search in this response for the category label 'Rings' which will give you the code 1608129415187 to use as the category. | |
